Whisperin’ Bill Anderson’s breathy voice and warm, soft approach to singing a country song has made him an unforgettable part of the country music scene. His lengthy career in the music business has made him a million-selling recording artist and one of the most awarded songwriters in the history of country music. He has been elected Male Vocalist of the year and has been voted Songwriter of the Year six times. In 2001 he received the highest honor of membership in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1961 and performs there regularly “Still." |
